Collinsville Faith in Action serves older adults and people with disabilities in Troy, Granite City, Fairmont City, Caseyville, Maryville, and Collinsville.  Founded in 1998, CFiA partners with faith traditions to recruit volunteers who drive clients to appointments, complete home repairs, offer friendly visits, and shop for or shop with clients who do not have access to transportation.  All volunteers are background checked and trained. CFiA staff offer certified Medicare counseling and assistance applying for the discounted license plate stickers and free bus passes.  All of these services are provided at no cost to our clients thanks to the support of churches, civic organizations, volunteers, and foundations.

CFiA is part of the National Volunteer Caregivers Network and partners with the Area Agency on Aging for Southern Illinois but operates on a local level.  We are “Neighbors helping neighbors” ® with a mission to provide services and information so that older community members can age independently.
